The 2018 InnoBev Awards for soft drinks take place in Prague, Czech Republic next month, with global brands competing in 17 categories that cover innovation, marketing, technology, packaging and corporate social responsibility.
PepsiCo picked up the best packaging design award for its LIFEWTR product last year, whilst Australian company AquaBotanical Beverages won the award for best new drink concept.
The awards will be presented at the 2018 Global Soft Drinks Congress, which includes presentations by Anheuser-Busch and Capri-Sun Group, along with market updates from the likes of PepsiCo. Karlovarské, Kofola and Zentis will provide more regional perspectives.
Event organiser Zenith Global’s chairman Richard Hall said: “There are undoubtedly challenges with environmental impact and calories, but these are in the nature of business to be overcome. This year’s conference is perfectly timed to identify what the industry can do to ensure the market reaches its full potential at the same time as delivering on health and sustainability.”
