UK-based thermoformer Kingsmoor Packaging collaborated with Adelie Foods recently on the production of an rPET container used for a festive promotion.

The packaging for Costa Coffee’s club sandwich product was lightweight, clear and featured a base and lid design.

Kingsmoor is a major supplier to the Food to Go (FTG) sector, and manufactures packaging in APET, PP and HIPS, as well as rPET, which  contains at least 50 per cent post-consumer recycled waste and at least 30 per cent industry recycled waste.

Manager director at Kingsmoor, James Hill  said: “We really value our long-standing relationship with Adelie and it’s great to work with them on the Costa club sandwich. Christmas is notoriously a challenge for retailers and their supply chains, so it’s satisfying to see the packs that we’ve produced successfully delivered and out on retailers’ shelves.”
