There has been plenty of interest in Adephi Manufacturing’s new Response Monobloc Filler at this year’s PPMA show, after the machine made its world premiere in Birmingham, UK.

Speaking to Plastics in Packaging, sales director Dean Willis explained that a variety of different sectors from the packaging industry have visited the company booth and expressed an interest.

Willis claimed that the machine provides many advantages for customers compared with traditional inline packaging systems. Built to pharmaceutical standards, the hygienic Monobloc is a single-head filler capable of filling plastics or glass containers of up to 25cl, in the region of 30 fills per minute.

“With an easy-to-use HMI touch screen control and quick strip-down, it improves productivity; not only can it be fully stripped in 10 minutes, it is also quick and easy to change parts from one fill size container to another,” he said.

“A major improvement facilitated by this filler is that the footprint of the machine is drastically reduced, which saves customers vital space compared to inline systems. Lengthy composite conveyor systems with several individual machines are replaced by compatible components surrounding a single starwheel.”
