Coca-Cola India has redesigned its Maaza mango beverage packaging. Working with UK-based design agency, Taxi Studio, the beverage company wanted to update Maaza’s image to make it feel more contemporary and relevant to consumers.
According to Coca-Cola India, the new look of Maaza’s bottles and Tetra Paks is designed to “portray the rich immersive experience of real mango and evoke the look and feel of an Indian sunset”.
The refreshed design allows the brand to emphasise its use of Alphonso mangoes by denoting the mango shape through a blend of a graphic mango illustration and the mango juice itself.
“The challenge was to have a packaging that makes it look as desirable as the beverage inside,” said Srideep Kesavan, director for Juices at Coca-Cola India. “We collaborated with one of the best design agencies in the world to tackle this challenge and bring a stunning new look to life.”
Meanwhile, Coca-Cola India has also introduced a new smoother and thicker juice – a premium variant called Maaza Gold.
