Nestlé ‘s Infant Nutrition business is to move from the globally managed
Nutrition unit to a regionally managed version as part of a strategy to expand in high-
growth categories.

A dedicated business unit will be created to manage the innovation, quality
management, compliance and global manufacturing capacity related to the
section.

Nestlé has also appointed Stefan Palzer as executive vice president and chief
technology officer, replacing the outgoing Stefan Catsicas. Deputy executive vice
president in charge of Nestlé Nutrition, Heiko Schipper, has also decided to
pursue other interests outside of Nestlé. His position will not be replaced
following the change in the organisation of the aforementioned business unit.
