Mars Wrigley Confectionary is to move its US headquarters to New Jersey in a move
that the company claims will allow it to drive growth.

The relocation from Chicago will bring 1,500 jobs to the state within the next four years
as it plans to make use of existing offices in Hackettstown as well as a new location in
Newark.

Mars Wrigley Confectionery’s global headquarters will continue to be based in Chicago,
with the US move to New Jersey set to be completed by 2020.

Berta de Pablos Barbier, president of Mars Wrigley Confectionery US, said: “Mars is
proud to have a strong legacy and future across both New Jersey and Illinois.
Expanding in New Jersey will enable the continued growth of our U.S. business. We are
fully committed to working with all of our Associates to support them through this
transition.”
