Macro reports “unprecedented sales growth”

Canadian film and sheet extrusion machinery supplier, Macro Engineering & Technology, has reported an “unprecedented growth in sales” for the start of the year.

The news follows the company’s launch in 2018 of the Quadex (bi-axially oriented multiple-bubble) line and the additional of two new agents in Spain, Portugal, and Mexico.

Macro’s chief executive, Jim Stobie, said: “This is right on track with the new machining capabilities we acquired last year in die manufacturing. It is a reassurance from the industry that we are a leader in supplying extrusion systems and components.”

The company’s order growth has come in the areas of dies, air rings and winders.
