In addition, a production plant will be opened in Guadalajara later this year, bringing the supply chain closer to customers. The investment in the new facilities is in response to the increasing demand for KegKeg and UniKeg.
Lightweight Containers has also recently invested in additional warehouses in Australia.
Commenting on the investment in the European market, Anita Veenendaal, chief executive of Lightweight Containers, said: “Europe is a key market for us, and we are enjoying rapid growth. Investment in these new facilities means we can provide our customers with even better service as well as help them make significant savings in terms of carbon footprint and transport costs.”
