Elopak chief executive Niels Petter Wright has decided to leave his role after a decade at the Norwegian packaging company.

Previously the financial chief at the Scandanavian firm, he will remain in his current position until the carton maker finds a replacement.

In a statement Elopak said that under his leadership, the business had been transformed from a company positioned for fresh dairy and juice products to a full aseptic system supplier.

Elopak is wholly owned by private industry firm Ferd Group and ships to 40 countries, with customers in over 80.
